Latest projects
Two projects on the go at present and one just finished.
Currently up-dating the Foster Carer’s Handbook for Children under 12. This will be the 4th edition of the book first produced some 20 years ago. The other book, called Teenage Fostering, is similar to the above, but for young people aged 12 – 18 years. this is also being up-dated. The material for both books should be at the publishers by September and published early 2012.
Have just completed The Scraptbook of WW2 memories, 2nd edition and I am currently looking at finding the best way to market this most fascinating book although it has been pretty successful so far. We also had a book launch at the end of July which conributors attended.
During the past 3 years my husband and I have produced a recipe book on behalf of the Crofton pub which has raised some £2000 for a local disability charity. A further £1000 was raised for charity from the sale of the Crofton calendar which we also produced. A recipe book for Havant Hockey Club was produced to help raise funds for their new pitch – over £2000 to date! A joke book for charity is the next project on the cards – not my jokes I would add.
Watch this space for my next project! I am going to have a try at producing a novel using some of the material from a Scraptbook of Memories.
